Aquinas College is situated next door to Griffith University as well as in close proximity to the new Gold Coast City University Hospital. Aquinas College in 2014 celebrates its 50th year of Catholic education.
Central Glass and Aluminium is proud to have been associated with the 2014 stage 1 and 2 upgrade for the school featuring a state of the art hospitality facility with the Capral Artisan sill-less bifold (the only one available with water ratings) – installed with commercial retractable flyscreens.
The Project featured Capral series, 480 sliding windows, 900 sliding doors, 275 hinged doors and 35 series awning windows. Additional unique elements included:
- Remotely operated electric chain winders concealed within our narrowline 400 series framing
- Artisan bi-folding window – with its unique design of no sill and retractable commercial fly screens
- Crimsafe security products, featuring face fitted screens and the Safe-S-Cape openable screens
