Our history stretches back to 1973, and we’re proud to say we still have customers who have been with us from the beginning. And if you’ve been anywhere on the Gold Coast, you’re likely to have seen some of our work.
When McDonald’s in Surfers Paradise opened, no one in Australia had made windows like this, so they came to us. Forty years later, the original glass is still in place.
Today, our 14 staff take calls from around Australia. Architects check their plans with us, and hardware stores send their customers here. When it comes to projects, there is nothing we can’t fabricate in-house. We take on jobs from individual homes to large developments, including significant maintenance jobs.
What keeps us inspired about what we do is the satisfaction of giving our customers exactly what they want. We like it best when they’ve already been told it’s impossible — like a customer in Runaway Bay who had been told by 15 other glass companies that what she wanted was impossible.
We might have a reputation for doing jobs people didn’t know could be done, but you don’t have to be turned down by someone else first before you can talk to us. Whether you’re fitting out a multimillion dollar property or just want to make it look that way, give us a call. We’ll make it happen for you the first time.
The team
Heather and Andy Clarke
Heather and Andy took over the family business when Heather’s dad retired. “No” is not a word that comes easily to either of them. It’s a quality customers rely on, along with their creativity, tenacity and expertise in glass.
There’s no “push one for sales, push two for maintenance” at CGA. You’re likely to get straight through to Heather, a born problem-solver with a reputation for giving customers the sort of advice they come back for.
And when you do order for your home or business, it’s Andy who will be there to measure up and supervise the team. This is a family business and that means family service.
