Awning windows are the ones hinged at the top so they can push out.
Awning windows offer great weather protection — on the wettest day, the windows can stay open.
Openings can be restricted with limiting winders or restricters to make even the highest opening safe.
Why not consider adding a motor hidden discreetly in the frame to allow automation of your windows?
The addition of gas struts means you don’t need extra supports along the length of the window. You get the maximum possible opening and view. And your window opens with a single push, because the 316 marine-grade stainless steel is doing all the work. The struts also do all the work when it comes to closing the window. You just need to give the window a gentle push up and the gas struts do all the rest.
Works beautifully with screens
It’s no problem to install a Crimsafe screen internally. Open your awning window to let the breeze through while Crimsafe keeps insects and burglars outside. Crimsafe’s Safe-S-Cape system will let you open the screen when you need to be able to pass things through your awning window.
If it’s just bugs you want to keep out, we can easily install a retractable screen.
Gas strutted awnings
Wanting something different – then why not consider a strutted awning window!
This window functions exactly the same as a typical awning window, hinged at the top and pushing out, but there is something more the addition of the strut mechanisms. This “something extra” gives you the ability to open the entire window. Viola a servery window with no sill. Functioning easily, with a single push outwards the struts do all the rest of the work, allowing a full opening to capture those cool breezes in to the kitchen and invite the outside entertaining area in.
