You’ve been dealing with the converted with regard to double glazing for windows (I think it should be the building standard in this country in order to improve housing energy efficiency.) What was most important to me is that you didn’t oversell and were realistic about what the product can do. I knew about double glazing, having installed a Magnetite system on timber frames in an old 1950s house before, and it’s been effective over the last seven years. However, maintaining acrylic panes and preventing the subtle scratching etc that occurs with cleaning, detracts from the overall value of that product over the long haul. Glass double glazing is the obvious choice, which was a big attraction with your product.

Interestingly, your product was very price competitive with the acrylic panes. I also valued how you cautioned about residual ongoing heat conduction through the aluminium frames, but this is a small price for the overall significant improvement in thermal stability in the house. No more condensation on my windows.
