Can you imagine the horror, of arriving home and finding your house burgled!

Worse still can you contemplate the sheer terror of being upstairs when the thief gets in.

I know I certainly can’t!. Being  personally spared the all too common and frightening “sneak break-in”.

The existing timber entrance door and timber jamb didn’t hold up as a barrier to the determined thieves. So, for this customer, it was an all too real experience. Following a recent break-in, they decided enough was enough, they wanted an improved security solution to help protect them in the future, in their own home.

As you can see from the images the old door frame, was beyond repair.  They didn’t even have a deterrent like a barrier screen or security screen door.

Arriving at our factory, they wanted a solution to improve their security and looked to us for cost effective options. Timing was important to get their home once again secure.

The end result was removal of the timber door frame, installation of a new extruded Capral commercial 400 series 100mm aluminium door frame with sidelite, laminated safety glass and a Crimsafe security door.

The door structurally was perfectly fine, so it was simply reinstated after installation of the aluminium door frame.  There was no need to replace the door with a new aluminium or timber entrance door,  part of our company ethos is to spend our customers dollars wisely – so why fix something that was sound and in working order.

To compliment the new aluminium door frame and sidelite, the customer decided to add a Crimsafe security door. All Crimsafe security doors come standard with a triple lock, this means there are 3 points of locking top, middle and bottom of the door stile.

We offered the customer a complimentary upgrade to a Crimsafe Ultimate security door. This final piece in the replacement of the entrance doorway for this customer, left them with the peace of mind that their entrance now puts every barrier possible in the way of the unwanted.

Security doors provide us with the peace of mind, that if confronted, we have a barrier between us and the unwanted. But, remember not all doors can be referred to as security doors, they must meet or exceed Australian testing standards to be able classed as such. Crimsafe security screens not only meet these standards they exceed them.
